 Hello, My name is James Lout.

I'm a photographer in Grand Junction, Colorado.

 

Creating images in ways that surprise the viewer is one of the main things that excites me about what I do. Surprised in a good way of course. And, if my clients are not wowed, then I have failed to give them my best and we will continue until I have.

I also feel a very strong connection with the dramatic, cinematic style of photography and I believe this shows in my images of everything from people to pets to business. Because of this, I tend to use very detailed lighting and, depending on the subject and project I can become very focused on a single image. For this reason, I don't offer wedding photography. There are many amazing wedding photographers out there, and I oh so gladly leave that market to them. If, however you came here for images of your big day, I will gladly give you my personal recommendation.

While I could photograph things all day, everyday, when I'm not behind my camera or in front the computer editing you can usually find me reading a book or having some Nitro. I seriously love Nitro Coffee much more than I should.
